Description
4 adorable pure bred kune kune piglets. 2 female and 2 male. The males have been castrated. They were born on 9th September 2024, so they are ready to leave now. The parents are family pets so the piglets will be very used to contact with humans. We would like them to go to good homes as pets. Pigs are social animals, so unless you have other pigs we will not sell them alone. The parents can be seen. The boar (Morris) is a registered pedigree kune kune. The sow (Pip) is a pure bred kune kune but is not registered. All 4 piglets have 2 "piri piri" - the tassles under their chin which are indicative of their breed. In order to keep pigs you must have a CPH number (County Parish Holding Number) and we will need your name and address in order to fill out the necessary pig movement forms. A CPH number is free to obtain from the Rural Payments Agency. Kune Kunes are a small breed of domestic pig from New Zealand. They grow to around the size of labrador dog but will be more solid and heavier. They are generally friendly and docile. They are the only truly grazing pig so can be sustained on grass alone in the summer. Over winter they should be fed a pot belly ration supplemented with fruit and veg.
