We are delighted to offer our working strain Labrador (Kamala Rock Oak) for stud duties. Rocky (KC number: AZ12193801) is a proven, very dark fox red Labrador stud and is often complimented on his coat when out and about. He is an enthusiastic gun dog and works many days throughout the season on our family run shoot.
Rocky (Kamala Rock Oak) is one of the most extensively health tested fox red Labrador's in the UK. He has been tested for 255 separate genetic diseases for which he has tested clear for every single one; this includes all the kennel club recommended tests. His other health tests include an up-to-date eye examination for which he is clear and also Hip and elbow dysplasia x-rays for which he has excellent scores of; Hips - 3/4 and Elbows - 0/0.
We have also had Rocky genetically Breed Authenticated to determine that he is 100% Labrador, this is a test that is rarely done but is becoming increasingly important to protect the authenticity of the Labrador breed.
When it comes to fertility, Rocky is second to none. We have his semen examined every 3 months at the very least; his total sperm count has been tested as high as 1.67 billion with 90% progressive motile sperm. At nearly double the average sperm count, this is classed as exceptional.

The stud fee is £500 and this will include two ties 48 hours apart. You will also receive a ‘stud pack’ that encloses all the relevant paperwork: a list of all Health Tests carried out, a Breed Authenticity Certificate, Rocky’s Pedigree and a Stud contract. In the unlikely event that the pregnancy doesn’t hold you will be offered a free mating the following season.
