Regretfully having to find my beautiful 6 month old German Shepherd a new forever loving home. Since taking her on, my health has declined unexpectedly. Resulting in myself having many overnight stays in hospital. Despite this I have pushed through and done my best to keep her. I have previously had a heart bypass surgery, which has been fine up until now. However the valves in my heart are no longer working as they should be, and it looks like I may be having to undergo another open heart surgery. This will entail months of recovery, and a long stay in hospital. So it is for the best I find my beautiful lady a home, as I won't be able to walk her or look after her.
Lady is KC registered, vaccinated and microchipped. She is house trained, used to walks and travelling in the car. She is fantastic with children and other dogs. She lives with children aged 1 upwards so would be very suited to a family home. She has a submissive personality, doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. She's happy to meet everyone and everything.
She knows some tricks, and has been having group training sessions on a weekend with a dog trainer in Aldridge. Although if I'm honest, her training isn't perfect as explained previously due to my poor health but the foundations are there and if someone continues putting the work into her, she will be a fantastic companion.
She is trained to sleep in a crate of a night time. She is a mix of raw food and kibble. She doesn't snatch, and knows to leave her food until asked to eat it. Her commands she knows are sit, down, stay, middle, heel and paw. She also visits a groomer once a month so is used to being bathed, nails clipped, dried etc.
She really is a beautiful girl who needs to be viewed to be appreciated. I won't let her go to just anyone. My preference is a family home, or single female with experience of the breed who can put her through her paces to reach her full potential. Who is also willing to stay in touch and keep me updated, as this will absolutely break my heart to let her go.
