Tallulah, from Cyprus, 9 months medium crossbreed, currently being fostered in Birmingham.
Our little black beauty Tallulah is looking for her forever home. She seems to be overlooked, although she is in foster care, she really needs a home to call her own and someone to love and cuddle her.
Delightful Tallulah flew to the UK from Cyprus in August. She is looking for her forever home, one that has another dog who loves to play and will welcome being cuddled on the sofa, but no cats.
She has oodles of love to give, very affectionate, not a bad bone in her body and absolutely loves cuddles, laps and sofa’s. Brilliant with other dogs, very respectful of them if they do not want to play. She is a joyous bundle of fun and energy, very endearing and will steal your heart with those eyes.
She still can be fearful of unknown situations and noises outside, and this is a work in progress. She prefers to walk in quiet locations, such as the woods and she takes great comfort walking with another dog looking for reassurance as they walk. She will be best suited to a generally quiet household with not too much coming and goings, and in a rural location. It is important that someone will be at home for the majority of the day as she does get anxious when left. This will need ongoing training allowing her time and patience to adjust.
Her foster mum says:
“She likes the security of another dog, which will help with her confidence, one that she can cuddle up with but also one that will play with her. She is an absolute delight, extremely affectionate, good with dogs, very treat orientated which makes training easy. She is nervous in the car but really well behaved, would just lie quietly next to my dog. Very loving no aggression whatsoever. Fine with normal household noises like the washing machine and vacuum. Would probably need a home with not too much noise and coming and going. She would love a doggy companion and is very playful but also respectful if my dog gave her a little growl to back off. She would love a good sized garden to run and play in”
