Description

PLEASE READ ADVERT CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING! Rottweiler or large breed experience necessary! There will be a transition period of more than one meeting with Teddy and we will be wanting to visit any prospective new homes. Teddy is a beautiful boy and this is one of the hardest decisions we have to make but due to recently falling pregnant we are looking for a new home for him. He has a heart of gold and is an angel in the house, he loves hard and cares deeply, his family are his everything. He is an anxious boy and can be reactive to unexpected things outside but we have worked really hard to get him to a place where he’s nearly there. He is house trained and does do the usual tricks, he really likes to please us and never wants to do anything wrong. He lives with a staffie who he adores and she loves him but ultimately he just loves love, time and affection and it is all he needs. Hes very good at heeling on walks but can bark randomly at males so he’s not quite perfect but he is learning. We are ideally looking for someone who has the experience with rotties and can give him the amount of love and time we do, including someone who is home a bit more than not as he has never been on his own, my partner has conditions which leaves her housebound for 6-9 months of the year and they have really looked after eachother :). This does result in him needing some socialising as our families are not big dog families so it’s always been hard for him to meet people with her conditions and the former. He should be ok with being left for a bit but it’s not fair on him to have to go through being on his own a lot after a life full of company. He is perfect with our staffie, likes the rough and tumble, cuddles. He’s 20 months old and has been castrated. We’re ideally looking for a family home with a lot of time, space and love to give him due to his anxiety but will also be open to others.
