Bindi is a Schnocker - a Schnauzer x Cocker Spaniel and is 6 years old. She has grown up with children in a family home with lots of land and runs off the lead every day - we would like her to go to a similar family or individual where someone is home during the day. A rural home would be best. She is incredibly loving and gentle and enjoys nothing more than a cuddle and a nap next to you on the sofa. Bindi is the perfect, loving companion and has no behavioural or health issues (except she will steal your meal if you leave it within reach!). She loves beaches and Dartmoor and needs daily runs off the lead to stay happy. She is great with young children, other dogs and she tolerates our cat, though they’re not best friends. Bindi is very intelligent and loves to learn tricks, which is very entertaining. She chases sheep if out in the moor, so we keep her on a lead if sheep are around. She is best as the only family dog because she wants all the attention to herself and competes (not roughly) with other dogs for food or cuddles. She is very much loved but our circumstances have changed, which means we can no longer have two dogs. She is not spayed but it is important she is NOT used for breeding. Please call me for a chat if you think Bindi will fit well into your family. A south west-based home would be ideal if it would be okay for us to maybe see her once or twice a year. Our previous Schnauzer lived until 17, so Bindi will hopefully be active and healthy for many years.
