Wilma is a very sweet and loving girl, but she likes to take her time getting to know new people. Once she’s settled, she’s affectionate and enjoys being close to her humans. She’s looking for a quiet home where she can relax and be part of the family.
🐶 Age: 5 years (Born 1st March 2019)
🐾 Spayed: Yes
🏡 Needs to be the only dog at home – she’s happy to meet dogs on walks but prefers not to share her space.
🐱 No cats – she’s a little too interested in them!
👶 No children under 16 – she enjoys a peaceful life and hasn’t been around young kids.
Wilma’s Personality & Training:
✅ House trained & non-destructive – no chewing or accidents.
✅ Crate trained – still needs a treat to go in but settles happily.
✅ Walks well on the lead – she doesn’t pull but sometimes likes to walk ahead.
✅ Recall is typical of a street dog – she’ll come back, but it’s on her own terms!
✅ Can be left for up to 4 hours – she’ll just nap while you’re out.
✅ Travels well in the car – great manners on the road!
Wilma loves her food and can be a bit greedy, especially around treats and human meals, but she will leave you alone when asked. She also has a funny little habit of digging in her bed, so we give her a blanket to dig in, and that keeps her happy!
She’s currently on Wilsons Cold Pressed Food, and we’ll send her home with some to make the transition easier.
