Diesel is our KC (for 5 generations) black labrador. He's neutered, up to date on all vaccinations & his flea and worm, and is health checked every 6 months.
He's 3 years old, and has had a tail amputation due to happy tail syndrome from his wiggly bum.
He is very obedient, really responsive to training and will befriend any human, though hasn't lived with children. He's lived successfully with our 2 cats. He loves swimming, and will retrieve his ball until the cows come home. He will curl up at your feet or next to you on the sofa.
Diesel has some behavioural issues; he suffers with seperation anxiety and works himself up if he can't be near a person, and he struggles to be left alone as he barks and salivates, though no destructive behaviours.
He also has shown instances of resource guarding, and has snapped at our other lab over food, his water bowl, and growls when she comes for attention when he is getting some. He's shown none of these behaviours towards people, only other dogs. For this reason we require him to be an only dog.
We think he needs a quiet farm life, where he can constantly be by your side.
