This is Wilma. She is a 5 year old First Generation chocolate Springador (Mum - Working Springer Spaniel, Dad - Labrador) and is looking for her new forever home.
She is vaccinated, microchipped, is up to date with flea and wormer and is neutered.
Wilma has the sweetest nature and the kindest of souls but does lack confidence in new situations. Once she has settled she really is the kindest girl but her new home must be willing to allow her time for her to find her feet. Although I don’t think this will take long, she will only go to someone with a quieter life who are not going to expect too much of her too soon. But Wilma will most definitely reward this with her gentle nature and willingness to please. What may first present as shyness will quickly turn to affection if she is allowed to find her feet with no pressure (and maybe some treats and a tennis ball to aid the process along!).
She has great recall so off lead walks will be possible once that bond with her new owner is made. She is crate trained, so will sleep in a suitable sized crate whilst adjusting in her new home if necessary. She is NOT used to children so will NOT be going to a new home with them, she also cannot be homed with cats, poultry or small furries.
Her ideal home would be with someone with an outdoor/rural lifestyle who is around all the time (do not bother contacting if a full time worker) who are going to give her regular daily exercise and lots of love and gentle kindness. She has a heart of gold and all she wants is to be with people, have a cuddle and eat lots of treats!
