Description

Hi, I have a beautiful girl named Connie who is 6 year old. I haven’t had Connie for long as I did rescue her. Connie is super loving, cuddly and very playful, she won’t give up playing until you stop her, she could go on for as long as she could. Connie appears to have a lot of struggles so would need to be the only dog as she is food orientated & will go for another dog if she feels they are taking her food. Connie needs someone who is super qualified or someone who’s had plenty of experience with dogs and training to get her into a better place. Following on from what her previous owner has told me Connie struggles with people, due to being abused in her past life, she is abrupt with new people but doesn’t take her long at all to adjust, it took her 10 minutes with me & maybe an hour or so with my partner. Connie listens to “down” and her name, that is pretty much it. Her previous owner stated she was abused my males, but was okay with children - which from what I have seen she may have some trauma to do with children as she’s more abrupt. She has not been off the lead so I’m unable to say what she would be like. She doesn’t appear to be good with anyone apart from who she has been introduced too so would require support & someone who’s got the time to train her constantly. Connie loves a cuddle & a play but does like her own space, she doesn’t use a cage here but she is cage trained & doesn’t like sleeping on her bed. She loves a good cuddle on the floor, sofa & bed and requires your full attention. She loves treats & food. She is house trained, no accidents, no chewing etc. Please message for anymore information. Sadly I just don’t have the time to get her where she needs to be due to a career change going to university & working also. My partner works full time so it’s hard, she gets walked twice a day by us both but requires more especially with training. I just want her to be looked after & someone to help improve her mental health.
