This is Chocolate. He's a loving Lurcher in impeccable condition. He's still a puppy at 11 months old and he is so full of energy and happiness.
Due to an accident at work and having to move home I am unable to give Chocolate the care and exercise he needs to thrive as the energetic puppy he is. I have been diagnosed with bulging discs and now selective mutism after the trauma. I am in no fit state to give him what he needs and I'm devastated to be rehoming him.
I got Chocolate when he was 4 months old from a family and we have been best friends ever since.
Chocolate needs a home that can provide a lot of stimulation and exercise. I will only respond to messaged to people who understand Lurchers and the energy that they have.
Chocolate is extremely intelligent and gets bored quickly if not playing brain games, training, or running around the field.
I would consider rehoming Chocolate to someone who will love him as a working dog / hunting dog as I have had a professional trainer tell me he would thrive in this position. He would do well in a home with other sighthounds to play with and a child free environment.
Chocolate is not been neutered and is on a mainly raw meat diet with biscuits as treats. He is vaccinated but due his boosters soon. He is flea and worm free and

❤️ Scratches and rubs on the chest, belly and above the eyes.
❤️ Playing with other dogs, especially fast ones!
❤️ Brain training games and learning tricks.
❤️ Playing with water, streaming fast outside a hose in summer.
❤️ Long walks on lead in the day and super fast runs at night.

💡 I get excited by children playing and sometimes jump up on them. I don't realise I'm too big for this and would do well in a child free household.
💡 Sometimes I will sneak food from the bins but I've been doing this less and less as I get older.
