We are so excited to announce Dakota is expecting her second litter before the end of April, and they will be ready for their new homes end of June.

Dakota is a second generation double doodle (meaning she is a mixture of Labrador, golden retriever and poodle, miniature poodle in Dakotas case) She is one of our family pets. We have had Dakotas DNA tested for all major hereditary diseases commonly found in her ancestral breeds, all came back clear, meaning she will not pass these onto her pups, (copies of health testing will come in all puppy packs, and will be available to see at viewings) She is about 18” tall at the shoulder and weighs approximately 12kg.
DAKOTA, or Dax for short, is the centre of our family. A wonderful companion with a laidback, easy going, friendly nature. Her favourite activity is a good ‘sniffy’ walk through the woods, a close second is playing chase through open fields. Double doodles are known to be a pleasure to train, as very intelligent dogs who are eager to please their guardian. Dakota’s mother: Bodie from BodeliciousDoodles. Sire of the litter is DIGBY, a pedigree red toy poodle, who stands at 12” tall. He is extensively health tested and his owners describe his nature as “second to none, a chilled happy little lad”.
We expect the puppies to grown to between 14”-17” tall.
The puppies will be raised in our family home and handled daily (including supervised handling by our young children). We aim to give them the best start possible for their socialisation and training journeys.
Successful applicants will be invited to meet the puppies from 4 weeks of age. Alternatively we can arrange a virtual meeting if you are unable to travel to Devon. If you would like to proceed and we are satisfied you will provide a happy and healthy forever home for one of our pups, then a £375 non-refundable deposit will be due and you can choose from the available puppies.
When the puppies are ready to join their forever families, they will leave with a puppy hamper containing a supply of the food they have been weaned onto, a comfort blanket with the litters scent, toys and other goodies, details of the parents health testing, and 5 weeks free insurance. They will be chipped and vet checked, plus first vaccinations.

The breed: Double doodles are low/non-shedding. They are an energetic, smart, friendly type of dog that want to be friends with everyone they meet. They require good training from a young age, regular exercise (physical and mental) and regular grooming (lots of brushing at home and a trim or clip at the groomers every 2-3months). Double doodles make great working, therapy or agility dogs as they are quick to learn and eager to please. They also love a snuggle on the sofa, or even better, a cheeky nap on their humans bed.
