Description
🐾 Meet Marvin — Left Behind, But Not Forgotten 💔
When a couple divorced, they left Marvin at a shelter — alone, confused, and heartbroken.
But thanks to a group of dedicated volunteers, Marvin’s story didn’t end there.
❗ IMPORTANT
He struggles with anxiety and can sometimes show aggression towards children, cats, or certain people he does not know. However, a trainer told us that Marvin is very easy to train because he's so smart. He really needs someone patient and committed, who can provide him with consistent training and plenty of love.
Unfortunately, Marvin has already been returned from two homes – in one, he didn’t get along with the wife, and in the other, he couldn’t live with the cats. In both cases we suggested training, but the adopters were not willing to continue. However, In his last foster home he just ignored the cats. So, it depends.
Marvin needs someone who can truly accept him as he is, while also helping him grow through training and care. From your message, it sounds like you have the time, space, and love to give him the chance he deserves.
🐶 About Marvin:
Affectionate, gentle and full of love
Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
EU Passport ready and healthy
Adaptable and sociable — just wants to belong again
• He knows commands such as “come,” “sit,” “go to your place,” “wait,”
“belly,” “paw,” and “down.”
He is very good on a leash. He responds perfectly to a whistle recall.
• He usually walks close to you, and if he goes too far, a call or gentle correction will bring him back to heel position, where he stays. When you stop, he stops and sits.
• He loves long walks. The more you take him out, the easier it will be for him to get used to you.
• He tells you when he needs to go outside for the toilet by standing by the door. He doesn’t bark but will try to lure you toward the door.
• He is very calm at home. He doesn’t chew furniture, shoes, or anything else.
• He likes his own space and peace. He doesn’t bark at the doorbell or at
people passing by in the neighbourhood.
🎯 Why We Need Your Help:
We’ve covered boarding, transport, vet care, and now foster expenses. Your donation helps us not only cover Marvin’s journey, but also rescue the next dog like him — one who’s been forgotten through no fault of their own.
