Description

Katie is a very sweet 3 year old mixed breed girl. She is approximately 48cm in height. So far, she has proved to have no interest in cats, and is also good with other dogs. She'd prefer a calm home while she builds her confidence. Thankfully, we were able to find Katie a foster home when she arrived in the UK on 14th September. Since then she has been learning about how to live in a home and form bonds with family members. She has particularly formed a bond with her female foster carer, and focuses most of her love and attention on her. In the home there is also an adult male and a male child. Katie has formed a friendship with the adult male, but is still a bit worried about the son. Therefore, we think she'd be best in a calm adult-only home or with older dog-savvy children only. Katie has settled well into living in a home, and rests well at night. She is very affectionate, and enjoys her meals. As you'll see in the video, she walks well on the lead. She does pull a little towards other dogs, but can be directed away. On a walk she is happy to ignore people, and at present her foster carer is asking people to give her some space as she adjusts to the new 'normal' of living in the UK. Katie is looking for a loving, kind and patient home, where she can be given a safe space away from visitors she doesn't know. She is a very affectionate girl, but it takes a little time for her to know she can trust you. We promise that the little extra effort and time is totally worth it. Could Katie be your girl?
