We have an urgent appeal to get Hugo into a new home.
A heartbreaking situation and a boy caught up in the middle of it, left to be neglected, abandoned and no one to help him. Various calls to the RSPCA on this situation without any intervention.
Reached crisis point and tenant been removed and the dog has been surrendered. Currently being cared for by one kind family, who stepped in to help when others didn’t.
Yes he’s big but he’s the biggest, softest boy at approx 60-70kg he cuddles and cry’s into his blanket feeling sorry for himself. He’s 3 years old, has manners, knows commands and walks perfectly on a lead.
He is great around people, very friendly. Great with dogs and curious about cats.
Has been around children and is beautifully patient around them although his size wouldn’t see him placed with anyone under 12yrs purely for safety, unless very dog savvy and the children are experienced with large, strong dogs.
We met the big lad this morning and his eyes tell the tale, you cannot fall in love with this boy.
And don’t worry, he’s already been for a bath kindly donated by TheDogHouse.
He is booked for a vet check on Wednesday and to get neutered and make sure his vaccinations are up to date.
Who can help here? He needs a new home, someone experienced with big soppy dogs and that likes their face washed and sat next to!
