It breaks my heart to do this, but I’m looking for a new loving home for my beautiful Yellow-Headed Amazon parrot. She is 5 years old, and I’ve had her for the past 4 years.
She is a very loving and clever parrot but, like many Amazons, she chooses her favourite person from the family and bonds closely with them. She loves attention, interaction, and being part of daily life.
About Her:
Loves watching other Amazon parrots on YouTube
Says a few words like “Hello” and “Oh boy”
Typical Amazon — she can be loud and loves to make noise
Favorite foods: pasta, sweet potatoes, and especially mashed potatoes
Comes with plenty of toys to keep her busy and happy
What’s Included:
Large spacious cage for playtime and comfort when inside
Smaller cage I kept in my room for her food and quiet time when out with me
Travel cage — handy for vet visits or safe transport
Lots of toys
Important:
I’m only looking for a home where she will get plenty of time out of the cage, attention, and love. She is not a bird to be left in a cage all day — she needs interaction and companionship to thrive.
Reason for Sale:
Unfortunately, due to changes in my life, I can no longer give her the time and attention she deserves.
If you can offer her a loving, patient home with lots of interaction and freedom out of the cage, please get in touch.
