Can you tell me if the lovely Ronnie is used to other dogs as well have a 2 year old Boston Terrier boy. Also has he had any interaction with cats as we also have 3 very dog savvy ones. Regards Glenn Reply: hes fine with other dogs, ive had him off the lead on a field with other dogs , he will run with them but not attack, I've had him around other dogs on walks and he just play bows with them being friendly, he doesn't try to attack other dogs that walk past barking there head off at him, he looks the part but if you walk past a gate and a dog barks he dips his bum and goes to run , hes been around total stranger dogs that have tried to warn him off with a nip and he has just play bowed with them and went back for another go so I'd say yes he is very friendly with other dogs but as always I couldn't say 100% as it would depend on the other dogs temperament all i can say is from the experiences I've had he has never showed aggression to other dogs and just wants to play. theres a million cats in our area that walk along the back fence he hasnt ran at the fence or barked at them he just watches like most dogs would but he has never lived with cats or come face to face so i wouldnt know for sure but he is pretty passive when it comes to anything like mentioned other dogs can be losing there mind going past him and he just carrys on with me like whats there problem haha Question: we have older children. is he good with kids Reply: he is great with kids ours are 11-10-6 and 2 and hes always after strokes from them Question:That’s good. Has he any health issues , allergies etc? I’m aware of the usual care needs such as cleaning wrinkles, nail trimming, ear cleaning etc. thanks Reply: yes as most he doesnt do well with chicken so we just dont give him any chicken related products , he did have hives a few months ago (like a yeast infection), its common and was just treated with a shampoo called duxos from pets at home he is perfectly fine now and it cleared the next day or 2 after the topical shampoo, we still use it now and again just as a precaution. he was taken to the groomers at pets at home to have his nails done a few weeks back as they looked a little long and he only needed 1 doing the rest we was told are fine. feeding: we have him on dry food and dont give him any human food although he does hoover up any scraps he can find that the kids drop but as a whole he is dog food and treats only. we feed him little and often 3 times in total as he will eat and eat till the bowl is empty even if it means he is then to full and has to throw up so we found smaller amounts 3 times a day is better. Question:Ok, can I ask what his toileting like , any indoor accidents and can he go through the night without going? Reply: he is house trained, he can go all night without going the toilet , he sleeps in a crate of a night , i let him out just before i go up to bed then he does both and heads straight to his crate once you say its ok to come in. he has never peed in the house but when ive taken him to another house that had 3 other dogs he had a pee on there puppy pad, when ive taken him my auntys or brothers who has no dogs he has never so i think it was more of a marking than anything else as 1 was in heat or he just remembered what a puppy pad was for. he is a very very good dog one of the best but our current situation makes us feel like we aint giving him enough time attention etc it really is no fault of his. if your looking for a dog that is passed all the puppy stages such as house training teething etc then ronnie is perfect Ronnie is great with kids (we have 4), great on and off the lead always by your side, loves to play fetch. he is not a dog who barks at knocks on the door or bolt for a open door, he's not afraid of fireworks(sleeps through them), knows loads of tricks (lie down, roll over, gives high five, waits for treats etc very intelligent and is the star of the show on any walk.(will wait outside the shop on his lead and will always have someone stroking him by time i come out) house trained , crate trained(sleeps in crate of a night), Ideal stud he is lilac tan with a superb temperament. He loves to sleep , if he isn't sleeping he is looking for the next sleep spot. loves a fuss. he comes with his crate , his crate bed, his normal house bed , bowls food, treats, toys, harness and leads, 5ltr of shampoo (he loves a good bath) He really is a great dog and would make the perfect pet for someone who has a little less going on. its with great regret that we rehome. any viewing welcome for serious interest but he will charm the pants off you so be prepared to take him home. 750 ono to ensure a dedicated home.
