Dam/mother:
Maple is a cherished member of our active family, and displays an intrinsic working potential that is typical of this dual-purpose breed (companion-worker). She loves to explore woodland and upland moors with our other dogs, and is equally at home on the beach or by the river.
Dam’s Pedigree:
Her pedigree combines champion Hungarian, Austrian and English lines, and is a descendant of the 2010 Crufts winner Yogi, Bear It’n Mind.
Dam’s Temperament:
Very intelligent & quick to learn, biddable, affectionate, and friendly. Overall, Maple’s easy-going nature makes her the perfect companion.
Dam’s Build and conformation:
Maple is graceful and strong, with a high conformation to the breed standard. Her chest depth and is slightly more than moderate which, combined with a lovely belly tuck up (slim looking waist), gives her a splendid silhouette and a quick ground-covering gallop when needed. She is slightly taller than our other girls, still within the breed standard.
Dam’s Health tests and COI:
Hip score: 6/5=11
Elbow score: 0/0
Eye examination: Unaffected
Gonioscopy – PLA: Grade 0
COI 2.3% (better than the breed average)
Sire/father:
Marcus lives in Cumbria with his 5-star Licensed Breeder. He is a warm natured, intelligent, and energetic - typical attributes of this breed.
Sire’s Pedigree:
Marcus has an outstanding pedigree with American, Australian, Hungarian and International champions. His father is Show Champion Fenyoligeti Flavian-Fabian under Geltwood, who was imported from Hungary with very impressive show results: Champion of Romania, 2 × Reserve Best in Show, 2 × Best of Group, Reserve Best of Group, 6 × Best of Breed, 10 x CAC, 6 × CACCIB and CACA. His great grandfather is 2010 Crufts winner Bear It’N Mind.
Sire’s Temperament:

Elbow score 0/0=0
COI 0.7% (excellent)
Puppy Socialisation
The puppies are being raised in our loving home where we are giving them the very best start on their socialisation journey. Their environment is clean, safe and warm and passed Breeding Licence inspection visit on 07/08/23 (with flying colours, “this is the best application I have seen”). The pups have the added benefit of growing up with our other dogs.
Enrichment and stimulation provided for our puppies:
• handling from birth
• between 3 and 16 days old Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) of the puppies is carried out, which has the following benefits: improved cardiovascular performance, stronger heart beats, stronger adrenal glands, higher tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease.
• From 4 weeks, familiarisation with ear & mouth inspection + noise/feel of dremel (nail grinder)
• regular contact with a variety of people (including children)
• regular contact with other animals (including our dogs and pet cat)
• normal household sounds, smells and sights
• Between 5 and 7 weeks of age (the ‘critical period’) pups are exposed to as many stimuli as possible to avoid fearful responses in future. This includes playing a ‘socialisation sounds’ track (traffic, fireworks, babies crying, party sounds/conversations, vacuum cleaners, hairdryers, construction noise, various animal sounds and gunshots).
• lots of free-roaming and exploring in a large garden as they get older, including an introduction to water.
This early socialisation, along with advice given to new owners on how to continue it, will ensure that the puppies grow into happy, well-balanced, confident dogs.
New owners will be provided with:
• Kennel Club registration and Puppy Pack
• Puppy Contract
• Vaccination Record and their microchip documentation
• Food supply (1 month)
• 5 weeks free insurance through the Kennel Club
• A quick reference puppy care guide and a detailed 25-page Care Guide
• Mother’s scent blanket
• Opportunity to join the litter’s WhatsApp group
• Lifetime advice and support
