Hi everyone, meet Zarby! This sweet soft fluffy boy just turned 3 and is originally from Romania. We adopted him 7 months ago and he has made SO much progress. He's such a sweet boy and loves a fuss from those he trusts. He's very expressive and is always making us laugh with his funny sounds and facial expressions. His favourite things in the world are food (anything meaty), walks, pottering around the garden, and snoozing next to his favourite humans. He's medium sized (15kg - smaller than he looks in photos) and absolutely gorgeous.
The reason for rehoming him is that he does not get on with my husband and is reactive to him (though he has never attempted to bite). Fear of men is common with rescues but we're not sure if this is the case for Zarby because he has been fine with male visitors to the house.
He's such a great dog and companion - good with guests and the kids he has met. He has never shown signs of separation anxiety and is happy to snooze on the sofa or play with his toys when we go out for a few hours - although when we come back we are rewarded with a very cute happy dance! For a rescue dog he is pretty calm - he's not bothered by loud noises or traffic. He loves saying hi to other dogs when out and about and we feel he would do best with a female if rehomed with another dog. He has not been cat tested.
We adopted him through Pawprints To Freedom so he will need to be rehomed through them as well, but I am happy to make the connection and to answer any questions, arrange a time to meet, etc. There is a completely optional donation to the rescue of £100. Thank you!
