๐ถ BAGEL (was GREJA) is a 2,5-year-old, smallish-medium-sized girl (41 cm / 10-12 kg) with a soft heart. BAGEL was rescued from war-torn Ukraine. She made it to safety in the UK and was adopted in August 2024. However, her adopterโs personal circumstances have changed, and despite all their love for her, they can no longer provide the time, patience, and training she needs to thrive. BAGEL is now in desperate need of a new home. ๐พ๐๐

Rescue Story:
๐ถ Her life was turned upside down when Russian forces began their assault on the Kharkiv region in spring last year. Amid the chaos and heavy shelling, many families fled their homes, leaving behind their pets. GREJA was found lost and confused, wandering along the road, by a lorry driver who brought her to safety on the West of the coutry.

๐ถ BAGEL is a beautiful soul with so much potential, but she struggles with fear in new situations. She needs a very patient, experienced owner who understands sensative dogs and is willing to put in the time to help her build trust. Another confident and friendly dog in a new home will help a lot, as dogs quickly learn from other dogs.
๐พ Loving & Affectionate โ Once she knows you, she loves cuddles and being close to her humans.
๐พ Loyal & Playful โ Loves playing, enjoys running around, and has a cheeky but sweet nature.
๐พ House-Trained โ She is fully house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go out.
๐พ Loves Other Dogs โ Enjoys the company of calm, friendly dogs and would flourish with a confident dog to help guide her.
๐พ Fearful of Noises & Strangers โ Sudden sounds send her running to her safe spot. She is scared of new people and takes time to warm up.
๐พ Loves Countryside Walks โ She does not feel safe walking in busy areas, so she is driven to quieter spaces where she thrives off-lead. Her recall is improving, and she loves running free in nature.
๐พ Separation Anxiety โ Has not shown extreme separation issues but has started crying more due to recent stress.
