Rusty is a wonderful, 14 month old Greek hound cross, presently in foster in Lincolnshire.
He originally came to the UK last spring and was in foster until he was adopted during the summer to a lovely family. Unexpected circumstances required that he come back into foster and look for another home, through absolutely no fault of his own.
He is a very well-behaved young dog, who walks nicely on lead either with a Halti head collar or just with a collar or harness.
He’s comfortable with traffic, farm machinery, and horses in nearby fields. Since he was a younger pup, he’s gotten along with both male and female dogs of his size and smaller, and is also very comfortable with cats. He’s crate trained, as well as beautifully behaved outside the crate.
He is fully house trained, has good recall, knows sit, give paw, and bed which means go to his crate.
Rusty would love a home with another dog with whom he could romp every day, and we feel he would also be good as an only dog with daily exercise and he gets on with children of all ages. He’s a happy boy with a very likable nature, who enjoys cuddles.
