***We are extremely proud to announce that our gorgeous girl is due to give birth to her final litter of chunky Golden Retriever puppies! She is such an amazing mother and we are thrilled!***
The waiting list is open! We are unsure as to the litter size at present but estimate 8-10 pups :)
Connie is first and foremost our very much loved family pet. Two of our children have additional needs and she gives them so much love and calm time.
Prior to breeding we took her to our local vet for a health check, which she passed with flying colours. Our girl is highly intelligent, calm, and loving plus a bit of a mischievous muddy hippo at times! She adores swimming :) We are extremely proud of her. This is her third litter and she is 4 and 1/2 years old. We are still in touch with all the puppy owners from the previous litters and have a very busy WhatsApp chat where everybody can keep in touch. I love seeing the photos!
Connie comes from extensively health tested parents. She has good bva hip and elbow scores, whilst also being DNA tested & clear of 206 genetic conditions tested for including:
GR–PRA1 (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
GR–PRA2 (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL)
Prcd – PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
Muscular Dystrophy
The sire of the litter is a wonderful and handsome boy called Fergus, KC name Gaelleda Myko of Shirelands. He has a beautiful broad head with stunning features and is very light in colour.
He is DNA tested, as well as BVA Hip & Elbow Scored. He has 34 show champions in his 5 generation pedigree. His Sire is Bear a white golden retriever at Jalk Kennels.
Fergus has a gentle, happy temperament, is up to date with his vaccinations and in excellent health.
He has a current Gonioscopy- PLA Grade 0-0 and clear eye certificate.

With a gentle, loving and calm temperament he was the perfect choice for Connie.
The inbreeding coefficient between Connie & Fergus is 4%, which is significantly below the breed average.

The puppies are being raised within the centre of our family home & handled with confidence and care. They will be used to everyday life (three children and another dog!) and noises/house hold appliances.
Early socialisation is crucial to the development of puppies. We used ENS and ESI to aid their development, resilience and coping mechanisms, in addition to the normal daily play, handling and socialisation activities.
We are wanting to find loving and responsible families who can provide the best possible care for our Furbabies!
A holding fee of £500 is payable to reserve your chosen puppy.
All potential puppy owners will be fully vetted by us. We have the right to decline if we think our puppy isn’t right for you.
Upon reserving your puppy we will of course send updates & weekly pictures/videos until the agreed collection date!
These dogs need to feel part of the family unit to thrive. They are not suitable for kennels. Golden retrievers malt lots plus love water and mud! They are not suitable for everyone.
