We have 2 tortoises that are in need of a new home.
We have one we adopted back in 2021 I think it was - we were told they thought boy but I’m pretty sure she is a girl. She is a horsefield she was 1 when got her so she’s around 3 maybe 4 now.
We are military family, and then somehow acquired another one as his family moved overseas and basically left him behind under someone else. We aren’t sure how old he is only his name we think he is a hermann tortoise but again we have no idea. He is definitely a boy though.
We do have them together as we said any issues we’d separate but their little set up has an upstairs and they seem happy enough.
We can let them go separately if you have a set up already, or both would have to go together if you want the set up we have (unless one goes without prior)
The have a fresh diet occasionally dandelion pellets the boy enjoys the pellets more than the girl though- but he does love his food pretty sure he’d eat anything.
Rehoming as the one we got originally was supposed to be our sons pet and recently he’s just not looking after them so would prefer them to go to someone that will appreciate them and care for them give them to time they deserve.
