Herbie is a beautiful young Labrador who is with us through no fault of his own
He’s a really happy boy who loves everyone, a typical Labrador. He’s very loving and affectionate.
So long as he has regular exercise he’s happy to chill when he’s at home.
He enjoys walks, he is pretty good on a lead and he is housetrained.
As with most Labradors that come to us he will pull on a lead if allowed to but he does understand how to walk correctly.
He is living in foster with children 10 plus. He has lived with very young children and we are happy to rehome with children.
He is getting along well with other dogs, he isn’t living with cats but can be cat tested if required. He is living with a lamb whom he takes no notice of at all.
He travels well in the car.
He understands basic commands but does sometimes need asking a few times. This is purely through lack of training but he wants to please.
All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment.
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us.
Adoption is subject to a home check also nd adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss him and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed.
If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
