Very handsome one year old, Petit Filous, also known at the shelter as Ruffles, is only 8 kg and 30cms high. He has a typical puppy character and is very active and playful.
Ruffles is sociable with all the dogs at the shelter and was in a pen with Little Fluff (now rehomed), with whom he used to get up to all sorts of mischief!
He can be shy at first with people unknown to him, but as soon as he knows them, he is affectionate and playful.
Ruffles is coming to foster in Surrey.
IDEAL HOME:
Ruffles is very good with children and we think that this cheeky chap would suit an active family home with lots of walks. Children over 8 years old.
Resident dog preferred. Please contact us if you do not have a dog to discuss further.
BACKGROUND:
Ruffles came to us at the request of the owner of a hugely overcrowded pound.
As he was only six months old, he was at serious risk of attack by older and bigger dogs. Our rescue team stepped in quickly to help him.

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped.
They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella.
All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Petit Filous is neutered.
Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
