I have one cockerel available to a good home. Believed a Speckeldy, handsome bird, started crowing in the last month, but not very loud at all. A handsome bird. I likely have one or two others as well otherwise I’d keep him myself. Equally if one of the others were preferred they could go instead. They’re not yet at the point of crowing properly but will be soon.
Cockerels are a great addition to any flock of hens, give a great balance to them all.
All our birds are kept in a run with aviary mesh and solid plastic roof, so are secure enough to be classified as ‘inside’ according to the APHA.
This advert will be left live as long as the APHA don’t restrict movement of birds which they will likely do soon due to the yearly Bird Flu cases.
