Mum Rolo is an absolutely beautiful girl with a kind and gentle nature, always eager to please and happy to see everyone
Rolo is from genetically health screened parents that are CLEAR of hereditary disease associated with the breed - this means she cannot have inherited any mutations and therefore cannot pass them onto her offspring
Dad is a lovely natured miniature poodle that is also health tested clear for hereditary disease
Dad also has a very steady and stable temperament
According to current research, environmental factors are thought to contribute to around 60-80% of the variability in hip dysplasia development, meaning that while genetics play a significant role, environmental factors such as traction in the whelping pen whilst nursing, can significantly influence the likelihood of developing hip dysplasia.
We make sure that there is always enough traction provided to avoid over extension of the joint and tissues during the crucial first weeks of development
