Balto is a 2 year old male Cross-Breed, medium to large in size, currently in Foster care in the UK.
Balto was taken into a shelter as a stray in September 2023 and spent over a year in a cage, constantly overlooked because of his colour, as black dogs are not popular in Cyprus. Balto is the epitome of a friendly Labrador cross; he adores people and attention.
Whilst at the shelter, he was a dream dog, never causing any issues and getting along with every dog he meets.
Balto truly deserves to find his forever home and would be a perfect gentleman and fantastic companion. He would be equally happy as an only dog or with other dogs in the household and would suit those who enjoy their walks as well as relaxing on the sofa with their furry best friend.
Balto will need to continue with his basic training, he is learning to walk on a lead and is doing very well. He is very treat motivated and eager to please, which means he will learn quickly which will make the training experience a joy for both Balto and his family and will result in a truly amazing canine companion who will bring joy to your everyday life.
