I’m looking for the perfect home for my lovely cat who just turned one year old. She is microchipped, neutered, and has had her initial vaccinations, though she will be due for boosters this year as she was vaccinated at around three months old. She has also been worm and flea treated, but this will need renewing soon. She had a vet check-up recently and is completely healthy.
She is a very shy and independent cat who prefers to keep to herself. She enjoys having her own safe space and isn’t overly clingy, so she’s best suited for someone who appreciates a more reserved and observant feline companion. She can be affectionate in her own way but takes time to trust and warm up to people fully.
She is very active no matter what mood she’s in and loves running around and playing. She enjoys chasing toys, especially lasers, and can be quite energetic.
Because of her timid nature, she will thrive in a quiet home without young children or other pets, where she can feel safe and secure. An indoor home with a safe outdoor area would be ideal, as she enjoys exploring but needs a calm environment to feel comfortable.
I’m having to re-home her due to a habit she recently developed of going to the toilet in the same spot on the floor where she had an accident. This is likely due to her picking up on a lingering scent, and a fresh environment without that association will solve the issue. She is fully litter trained and has never had any issues before, so with the right setup in a new home, this won’t be a problem.
