Description

COOPER is an adorable, good natured, healthy, all up to date, tame, well trained approx. 9.2hh, 3/4 Welsh x 1/4 Mini-Shetland yearling gelding/easy, well-handled, young pony who gives kisses and loves a fuss. Sadly the couple, who had the breeding herd he came from, passed away suddenly. This meant things got in a mess for the ponies & our rescue went to help. Although unhandled & neglected they were bred for good nature & not physically abused or given hand treats. Been here the usual 6 months plus to get tamed & have everything done. Been thro' usual isolation/checks with no sign of sickness, laminitis, asthma, sweet itch etc. Gelded, microchipped &passported. Had his feet trimmed every 6wks. Had 1st/2nd Flue/Tetanus vaccinations & been wormed regularly. Had lots of TLC & been kindly & consistently tamed/trained without roughness or treats. Likely to make cute kids' lead rein project, therapy pony, party pony, companion &/or pet. Follows my daughter & autistic son who have a great bond with him. Friendly, easy to come when called/ to catch & put head collar on. We don't jump youngsters but this lad seems to have natural talent. Halter trained, enjoys his farm/forest walks & started road work. Look forward to take to beach etc. Amazing to be tied up to wait calmly & patiently for farrier & vet etc. Great to worm & pick feet. Also good for vet to vaccinate & farrier to trim his feet etc. Used to & good to brush, wash, load, travel, rug up, & fuss over. One a kind person, child or teen can easily bond with. Hence, now ready to in his new home to be brought on. Maybe of interest to a family, small pony business, therapy centre or petting zoo. Alternatively as a pet for a disabled teen/adult/mature person who don't want to ride. Love him possibly go to big home school family or home affected by autism. Then we know he is likely to get a lot of attention & be well loved. Re-homing fee is a fixed £500 as seen with hay net, lead & collar. Pony/passport becomes fully yours & signed receipt/details given. Open to viewing/vetting, honest advise given & transport available. Happy to arrange viewing for you & yours to kindly check him out. One-in-a-Million lovely, easy 'lad'/gelding who just steals your heart. You have to meet him to believe it. x
