Henry is an lively terrier/spaniel cross who needs plenty of exercise and to be the only dog in the household. He is part springer spaniel and part yorkshire terrier, but was originally sold to us as a sprocker!
He greets both strangers and friends with great enthusiasm and is therefore best suited to living with older children. He is strong, fast and agile, and loves to chase birds and cats.
Henry is very vocal, and always wants to be the one in charge. He believes that all toy balls belong to him and will grab them from under other dogs' noses and hide them, even if they are not his. Henry is very loyal and has plenty of love to give his special human, but his recall is poor and he does need further training.
Henry is a fantastic, lively dog who’s full of personality, but sadly, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to find him a new home. He’s been with me for four years, and this isn’t something I’m doing lightly, but due to our current house dynamic and my limited time, I can’t give him the attention and structure he needs.
And yes, he was named after Henry Cavill.
Henry’s favourite places are muddy, big fields, woods, and places he can explore.
He was vaccinated for a couple of years, but I have not kept up with it. He is neutered and microchipped.
