We are delighted to announce that we are expecting a litter of miniature cockapoos around 7th April 2025 - They will be ready to go to their new homes around the 2nd June 2025. We will be putting together a waiting list of interested parties and welcoming viewings from around 2-3 weeks onwards after they have had their first vet check.
Cockapoos are a popular crossbreed, resulting from the mating of a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle or of two Cockapoos or of a Cockapoo and one of the root breeds. In the United Kingdom, in common with a number of other established and popular crossbreeds, they are not recognised by the Kennel Club but they make wonderful family pets or working dogs owing to their inquisitive nature, friendly fun loving personalities and exceptional intelligence. Our puppies will be miniatures, they are small but theyâre incredibly intelligent and have huge hearts!
We have bred our family pet Lulu with a very popular sire to produce the highest quality puppies and we are expecting any combination of black, white, chocolate or fox red puppies with fleecy or woolly coats. They will most likely be non-shedding and some people who find themselves allergic to other dogs may find that they can own a Cockapoos due to them not shedding and spreading dander.
The Dame
The mother of our puppies is Lulu, our second generation true miniature Cockapoo. Lulu was born in York and sheâs lived with us and our four children in the family home since. We couldnât ask for a better family pet! She is 14 inches at the shoulder, weighs 5 kilograms and will be here to view along with the pups whilst she nurses them. It's her 2nd and final litter and we have her 3 year old daughter Penny from her last litter here to meet too!
The Sire
The father of our puppies is Trigger, a fully health tested miniature red poodle that has sired many healthy litters of puppies, he is also 14 inches at the shoulder. Heâs a lovely outgoing dog with a top notch temperament who is much loved by his owners meaning when it came to choosing a sire for our litter, it had to be Trigger!
All of our puppies will be crate trained from a young age meaning theyâll be easier to train when you get them home! Theyâll be treated for worms and fleas, Fully vet checked, microchipped and be given their first vaccinations (unless you decide otherwise) and will come 4 weeks free insurance and also a puppy care pack containing a leaflet detailing the routine your puppy follows with us, a bag of the food theyâre used to eating and scented blanket from their mothersâ bed to get them settled into their new homes. We put hours of effort in with our previous pups and they will be well on their way with house training when they go to their new homes!
