We are looking for the most special new family for our wonderful pug. Only 5* homes who can offer a loving family environment for her need apply.
This girl is so special, absolutely stunning looks, she is one of a kind - not only is she a blue/black Merle she is also long haired/fluffy. She has one eye which is part-blue and part-brown to add to her unique look but has no visual issues. Has the most gorgeous fluffy tail and “trousers” she’s absolutely stunning and turns heads wherever she goes. You won’t find another one like her and I’m devastated to let her go especially knowing this! But as well as that she’s just unbelievable.
Mum is a long haired cream pug and dad is a long haired chocolate Merle pug - this litter were insanely beautiful and special. They have been bred for health with slightly elongated snout and both parents were health tested so we have no breathing issues either and she loves her walks. Being long haired she doesn’t suffer with the cold like other pugs do but of course may get hot in the summer months. She is used to being bathed, showered and brushed.
Has been microchipped and vaccinated, regularly treated for worms and fleas.
Exclusively raw fed and will come with supply of her food when she goes to her new home.
That’s the health bits over - now for her personality:
- Loving and friendly, she likes to sit or lie on my foot whenever she can
- House trained, toilets outside and lasts all night (generally 8 hours)
- Is left in the kitchen when we go out and overnight, does not destroy anything. Will chew cardboard if left lying around however!
- Travels well in the car, has been on 4 hour journeys and many shorter ones
- Great with young children
- Great with visitors/other people, has been taken on holiday, to the beach, to other people’s houses, into an office, shops, restaurants and is well behaved
- Walks nicely on the lead
- Great on walks around other dogs, generally ignores them and happy to just walk past
- Only barks if she hears another dog bark eg when we’re in the garden if a dog down the road barks she joins in. Otherwise we don’t hear a peep from her.
- Trained to sit, gives paw and waits for her food (most of the time!) and can do spins for treats
- Can be left for short periods and a few hours at a time
Reason for looking for a new home:
- Her one and only flaw, she needs a home with no cats or a very dog savvy cat, can discuss further with potential owners
I’m so sad even writing this as she’s such a special dog and is perfect in every way except one - and it’s one we can’t compromise on currently. New owners will be incredibly lucky to own such a special dog. You wouldn’t know she’s so young because she is so calm and well behaved. Her only vice being the cats!
I would love to keep in touch with the new owners occasionally to check how she’s doing.
