We are looking for a forever home for our 9-year-old Golden Retriever boy. Due to our growing family, we no longer have the time to give him the attention he truly deserves.
About him:
- Personality - Extremely loving and affectionate. He would choose cuddles over food everytime. Can be nervous at times in new environments and is scared of fireworks.
- Energy - Can be boisterous at times so he would suit an experienced dog owner
- Training - Not lead trained. But is well behaved off walks and does recall. However, he does run up to other dogs, so needs somebody who can manage this.
Compatibility:
- Gets on well with other dogs and can be homed with one
- Can be around children but may be too boisterous for young ones
Health:
- Has a lump on his tail which vet said feels like a cyst and to keep an eye on it
- His vaccinations are up to date and next due in April
Ideal home:
- A retired family or somebody who works from home as he loves company
- A home where he can enjoy walks, love and a peaceful environment in his senior years
If you can provide the care and attention he deserves for his remaining years, please get in touch. It is with a heavy heart as we’ve had him from a puppy but he is held back here from enjoying his last few years.
