Scruffy Dog Rescue Shropshire are looking for an active family for Lilly. She is a happy friendly European Pointer (smaller than an English pointer). She walks well on the lead and understands commands such as sit, stay.
Lilly’s country of origin is Spain. She has had a UK Brucella Canis test via the UK Government Animal & Plant Health Agency with negative result (proof available). Lilly is up to date with all her vaccinations and also has a health screen for Babesiois, Giardia and Leishmania - documented in her passport.
Resident children must be aged 10+.
Garden boundary fencing must be secure and a minimum of 5-feet high.
Lilly is not yet spayed. Her adopter will sign a neutering contract agreeing to arrange and pay for her spay when she is ready for this procedure.
An active family with a garden available is essential as Lilly will require plenty of exercise. She is able to live with another dog so long as a managed introduction is done (as with all rescue dogs), or she could be an only dog in the household.
We also have her sister Lara available. The siblings will be homed separately to avoid sibling rivalry in later life.
If successfully matched to adopt Lilly, a meet and greet appointment can be arranged and once the adoption is finalised, the adopter needs to be prepared to collect the dog from Scruffy Dog Rescue Shropshire near Bridgnorth.
