Foxy is a lovely 16-year-old chestnut Thoroughbred mare standing at 15.2hh. She has a beautiful, kind temperament and a gentle, affectionate nature— Once she knows you are her person she will be your best friend. She is an honest horse who’s willing to please. She is great out in a herd or separate paddocks.
She has been used primarily for hacking and is great to ride even after time off; you can leave her for a couple of months and hop straight back on. She’s seen farm machinery, farm animals and dogs running around her and she isn’t fazed by much and is bomb proof in even the heaviest traffic. She’s good in open spaces and loves a fun ride. She will hack all day long. She’s great with the farrier and is a dream to load.
She is not suitable for novice riders as can be a typical thoroughbred nothing nasty just can throw some shapes when excited.
Foxy can sometimes weave if there’s lots going on around the yard but it’s very minimal.
£1,500 includes full wardrobe. priced to sell as my daughter is going travelling.
