We are now down to one Silkie chicken after the loss of her buddies over the last few years. She is very sweet, scatty bantam. She occasionally lays still but this is sporadic. She free ranges around our garden a couple of times during the day time. We feel sad that she no longer has any feathery friends but do not want to start over again and purchase any more. More looking for a nice new home than any money. Hopefully with other silkies.
