Benji is unfortunately looking for a new home due to his owner being unwell and simply not managing him . He’s Rottweiler cross Labrador (?) , 8 mth old . He is very well behaved for his age with excellent recall , dog friendly not lived with children but he seems ok with children he has met both inside and outside the home just a little excitable initially but soon settles down ( not nippy just wants a fuss and a cuddle ) He’s currently been living with us for while now and our 4 dogs but unfortunately I cannot keep him due to tenancy rules and personal circumstances ( happy to disclose and none are Benji fault !) , has previously lived with birds with no problem, has met cats in our neighbourhood / street and just ignores them . I took the dog on as an emergency for a friend who now has made the heartbreaking decision to sell him due to her being disabled and her partner suffering a life changing illness meaning he’s in hospital long term . Benji is up to date with vaccinations , flea ,and worming and has no health concerns been vet checked . He is happy with a good walk a day or two x 10 minutes on the field with his Frisbee , settles well day and night on command , clicker trained, fully house trained will cry when he wants out and start pacing to the door (odd occasion he’s needed out in the night he nudges you awake , never messed in the house since being 12 week old ) . He does need continuous training like any dog his age but he is very willing to learn and remembers well . Would suit any household who will give him the love and cuddles he deserves . Very lab like in nature looks like a lab like face with Rottweiler markings , still quite slender . He IS an indoor dog and would not cope well shut in an outdoor kennel so please only respond if you can give this boy the warm safe home he deserves .
