I have had Lenny for just over two years. He’s loving, playful, full of character and above all a typical spaniel. A little bit crazy, stubborn, demanding of stimulation and would rather be outside than inside.
Lenny comes to work with me and spends half the day outside on a country estate and the second half inside sleeping. When not at work Lenny is happy with two walks a day, morning and mid afternoon. He does need some training on leash etiquette but does loose lead with a bit of chicken.
He’s great with other dogs, to his detriment thinking every dog is a playmate and does often get told off by reactive dogs but this never seems to phase him. He has lived with another dog at my parents house so I would like him to go to a home with another companion however it won’t effect lennys character if not as he’s happy with human company. He’s absolutely fine with small humans and has been around children, opting more to take himself off away from the chaos which is about the only time he’d prefer to be away from it!
Sadly my circumstances have changed and I can no longer take Lenny to work and provide the life he needs and has become accustomed to. I want Lenny to go a home that can take him on long walks and adventures as this is what he’s grown up with. Lenny definitely wouldn’t cope with a non-active household, he needs stimulation and a lot of sniffing action. So please reframe from contacting if you’re looking for a calm lap dog.
Lenny was from a good breeder and is a very healthy dog with no issues and a low inbreeding score. He hasn’t been neutered and has always has all relevant treatments kept up to date.
This is an extremely tough decision and I won’t settle for anything less than a loving, activity packed household for Lenny to give him the smoothest possible transition into a new life.
