💔 Rescue Story 💔
This beautiful boy appeared very unexpectedly in our care. A woman brought this dog to my home where only the husband and children were present, claiming she found him in a field but wasn’t local to the area. She found us on Google and brought him over, hoping we could help, as we are a dog Rescue.
After a frantic search, we managed to reach the original owner registered to his microchip. We discovered his name is KING ( now he gas new name KOBE) . Owner admitted to selling Kobe just a few days ago to a someone in Stoke-on-Trent. Yet somehow, Kobe ended up abandoned in a field near Burton-upon-Trent. The formal owner claims they can’t get in touch with byer and can’t take him back. The truth of what happened is unclear, but it’s heartbreakingly obvious that this sweet boy has been let down by humans he should have been able to trust. He’s only 8 months old, still a puppy jusr massive 🙂, but incredibly friendly and eager to please. Kobe is playful, loving, and shows an impressive ability to listen and learn. His gentle nature has already charmed everyone he meets.

HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes, clean indoors and even managed a full night without accidents
🐶 Kobe is currently at Foster with 5 other dofs ans kids and that's what foster say about him: " Kobe. So if you have Mastiff experience, you will know how loyal and loving they are, BUT what a handful they can be, and this is Kobe to a T. He wants to be with you ALL the time in the kitchen, on the settee in the bathroom, and yes in the shower and at bedtime. Your are going to need a big bed. No baby gate or door is going to stop him. He can jump up a baby gate and open any door in his way because he knows how to. He loves a game of chase, but this is usually because he has stolen something, shoes, toilet rolls, clothes, wellies...... anything. He also has a VERY long tail that whips everything in his path. He doesn't mean to it's when he's being a large, loveable loony. Unfortunately, this is currently causing a couple of issues in that he keeps splitting the end open and then making the house look like we have a chainsaw massacre going on! He is a very large bouncy puppy."

🐶 Kobe is an absolute gentle giant. Despite his size, he is sweet, friendly, and playful. He loves being around people and is quick to form bonds. He’s happy to be next to you on the sofa and even seems to enjoy watching TV!
🐶 Kobe responds well to basic commands and shows great potential for further training. King’s foster carer reports that he is already house-trained, didn’t have a single accident overnight, and walks well on a lead.
🐶 Kobe enjoys wet food and treats like chicken and ham but isn’t keen on chews or plain kibble unless it’s mixed with wet food.
🐶 Kobe has all the potential to become the most loyal and loving companion for the right family. He just needs a safe, stable home where he can feel loved and secure.

🐶 Kobe would thrive in a loving, patient home that understands the needs of large breed dogs. Given his size and playful nature, a home with older children or adults would be ideal. He would benefit from an experienced owner who can continue his training and help him grow into the best version of himself.

🐶 Kobe appears healthy. No known health issues. Not neutered (early age for large breed), will be arranged by rescue in appointed clinic when time will come (12-16 months old)
