Description
đŸđMarvelous Miss MollyđđŸ is now looking for her forever home!
If you're looking for a devoted dog, Molly is the perfect match. She doesnât just enjoy your company â she lives for it! Wherever you go, sheâll want to be right there with you, keeping you company!
She loves attention and affection, and sheâs not shy about asking for it. Strokes, cuddles and a fuss go a long way with this sweet girl, and sheâll remind you how much she likes them! And in return you get lots of kisses.
When Molly is out and about, she loves to meet other dogs â she really is a sociable girl that wants to meet anyone and everyone and loves her walks.
Molly could potentially live with a very patient and easy going dog â one who doesnât mind sharing space with a active girl who loves the spotlight. She enjoys being the centre of attention â if there is a fuss to be made, she puts herself at the front of the queue. But despite her size and the fact she is a bulldog - Molly still loves to play, so she would suit a younger dog or one that is just as playful as her. Unfortunately, Molly is not suitable to live with cats.
Like all brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, Molly doesn't cope well with heat or humidity. Cooler weather is much more comfortable for her. On warmer days â like the ones weâve had recently â sheâll need her walks either early in the morning or later in the evening when itâs cooler outside to keep her safe and comfortable.
Molly could live with older, dog-savvy children (Over 12) who are comfortable with her playful energy. She loves to bounce around and is a big strong girl that sometimes forgets how big she is.
Molly will need to be fed using a slow feeder bowl, as she tends to gobble her food down a little too enthusiastically. Like many Bulldogs, sheâs at risk of bloating, so slowing her down at mealtime is important for her to minimise the risks.
She is housetrained and does a great job of letting you know when she needs to go outside â sheâll bark to get your attention until you let her out. At night, she sleeps well downstairs in her crate, but only once youâve gone to bed and the lights are off. She may bark for a minute or two but usually settles down once she realizes youâre not around. If she knows you're still up and about, she will want to be with you.
Molly would really benefit from someone willing to put in a bit of time and consistency with her training. She's a smart girl and responds well to positive reinforcement â she just needs a little structure and a lot of love.
Molly is now spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea and worming.
Molly has also had entropion surgery but will also need lifelong optimmune eye drops and false tears drops and this will not be covered by insurance. She also has her ears cleaned regularly to keep them from getting sore.
Her adoption fee is ÂŁ275 and all homes will be fully vetted.
