A most unique combination of Afghan hound x Bracco Italiano. This was an unplanned litter but it got us thinking about the striking nature of this potential new breed! All nine pups were similar in appearance. We kept three to the age of 1 year, of whom we have now selected one, one female has now been sold which leaves Boris a light fawn / sandy coloured boy who is now available.
In general, they are sporty and lithe, very fast (dad is an Afghan) but reasonably well built (mum being a Bracco). They are incredibly loving and playful. Boris stays in our utility room, exits via a dog flap and reliably knows how to relieve himself outdoors. He has access to the home when we are in, under supervision.
Boris has small swellings on both his elbows which appears to be harmless bursal fluid and this is fast settling. He is completely oblivious to its presence and does not suffer in any way from it. He is otherwise a superb young lad!
