Description

AVAILABLE SEPARATELY POTENTIALLY (AS LONG AS YOU HAVE OTHER DOGS) OR TOGETHER -SIBLINGS ‘Morph & Mindy’ 15 months old-looking for early enquiries while we assess their bond- good with children & cats & dogs 🇬🇧 TOTNES AREA This appeal includes pics from morph n Mindy as pups to present day. Please ask for their EU bio this is their U.K. one If Morph & Mindy were flowers Mindy would be the Pansy & Morph would be the Iris - he’s proud and upright while the Pansy is delicate & understated. I guess what I’m trying to say is that morph is that lily and Mindy is the lily’s leaf- background to his splendour but vital not the less. One doesn’t quite look right without the other. Having said that morph & Mindy are offered separately potentially or together. They become a second chance adoption after just less than a week having arrived in the U.K. Totnes area on the 18.3.25 thereabouts. The owner has been specific in staying this has nothing to do with the dogs & is because of mitigating circumstances with a family emergency. Nonetheless it was for myself & my team a shock of course & very saddening & now we will do our best to help them & support their owner. If they are adopted together the commitment fee is £360 & if the trainer says they can be homed apart then it will be £250 for each rescue dog. We are none profit and this will be used to save another life or two :) In the words of the current home- I give you Morph n Mindy along with their U.K. pictures. First they’d statistics & details- Sex: boy & girl Age: 1.5 yrs old approx’ (15months) at time of writing on the 29.3.25 DOB in passport: 29.10.23 Coat: smooth / short Weight and height prior to leaving for the U.K. on the 15.3.25 Mindy 17kg Morph 18kg Mindy 62cm from paw ground level to very top head and morph 63cm Slightly taller than a lab though far less bulky- slender and petite In typical brotherly fashion he’s one ahead of her each time :) Been around cats in the EU ✅ Good with men & women ✅ Currently living with children ✅ Currently living with other dogs ✅ Must continue to live with other dogs unless homed together ✅ Will need patience re walking while they build confidence though walked prior to leaving as seen- albeit it gingerly They will be stressed being moved but will bounce back You’ll need to have a garden please or private / secure outside space If you would like to hear more from the welfare about them and the rehoming please get in touch Fosters words written on 24.3.25 (thank you for keeping them safe & for the lovely write up):- *Mindy & Morph* Both Mindy and Morph are adjusting well to living in a home. They are understandably worried about new noises, especially typical household noises that they have never experienced before. But with reassurance they are coping well. We have made some adjustments to noises they really don't like and this is helping. For example they don't like when the washing machine spins, so we close the kitchen door and that dulls the noise just enough that they feel less anxious. We have been slowly trying to introduce them both to every day sounds, at first every sound worried them but now they are becoming more tolerant to everyday sounds and as mentioned above with reassurance they are managing better. They both tend to stand by the back door which leads into the garden when they need or want to go out which is great progress in such a short amount of time. They are both happy off lead in the garden, they will venture out with encouragement and just lay or sit in the sunshine quietly. They do need gentle encouragement to come back in again and they will then just go back to their safe spot. They are clean in the house, we do place mats down at night time and they have used these overnight rather than just mess anywhere which is really quite amazing that they know to use the mats. They have both had a bath which they weren't too keen on to start with but when they realised it wasn't anything to be scared of they calmed down. This seems to be the case with everything, once they know it's nothing to be scared of and with reassurance, they are ok. These are just two wonderful dogs who are just unsure of all that's new around them. We haven't ventured out for a walk yet because we don't feel they are or have been ready for that yet. We feel it's more important that they have had the time they need to decompress after their long journey and to feel more comfortable and secure in their new surroundings. They both enjoy human interaction, Morph is more forward than Mindy but with time Mindy will become more confident too. They both eat and drink very well, we have been feeding them dry kibble only and they are both enjoying their meals. P.s They both love to pinch slippers and shoes 😉 Commitment outlay & home check applies. RBU provided subject to contract.
