Gaia is a sweet natured 3yo ex breeding french bulldog. She was surrendered to rescue having lived outside in a kennel and used as a puppy machine. She is now neutered so she can never be used in that way again.
It breaks our hearts when dogs like this are used for money making then disposed of when they are no longer of use. You may have seen on our fundraiser post that Gaia is needing expensive dental work to make it comfortable for her to eat, something that was not seen to previously or cared about. This will be done before her adoption is finalised.
She is good with children and likes to follow them around. She does jump up sometimes so does need supervising with children.
She is good on walks and likes to meet other dogs, she gets very excited. She doesnt pull on the lead. She likes to cuddle up with you and can be mischievous in the house. She likes to follow you if you leave the room, this little girl will love to be your shadow.
She likes food; hers and yours, and has no spatial awareness when you have food š
Although she is keen to fill her belly she does not food/resource guard. Her foster mum has been encouraging Gaia to sit on the floor when eating.. not on the sofa š.
Toilet training is still ongoing.
She is a beautiful friendly dog who loves cuddles and being close to you.
Gaia can live with dogs, cats and gentle children.
