Description

Type of home needed: • A quiet, adult only home with no other pets. • He is an indoor rabbit, he currently has free roam of the house though doesn't go upstairs anymore due to his age. • He is never locked in his cage, if we go out he is kept in the kitchen where his cage is. • He doesn't need a garden as he is able to run around indoors. • Carpet or a rug is best for him to walk on. • Any plants should be kept out of reach as he will eat them. About Prince: • He is 6 this August and is a Lionhead mix bought from pets at home. I think he may have some dwarf. • He is toilet trained and will only go in his toilet/cage • He is neutered • He responds to his name, knows the words "food", "treats" and "no" • He takes a while to get used to new people. You can find lots of information online about bonding with new rabbits. • Once he's used to you, he does like being stroked but has never liked being picked up or held. He prefers to sit next to me and be stroked. • As he is nearing old age, he has slowed down significantly but still enjoys running occasionally and jumping (binkying). • He prefers to be alone, we did have another rabbit but they never fully bonded and he seems happier by himself. He has a teddy he grooms. • He loves playing with his blanket and laying on it. • His favourite food is banana, he also enjoys herbs and flowers most. Reasons for adoption: • We have 2 small children and he doesn't like the noise or attention. Initially he was fond of the baby but has become aggressive. I hoped it would improve but think it's best he has a home that is able to provide the environment he needs so that he can enjoy himself. • He will come with all his things. • I would like to see photos of where he would be and if possible, update photos every so often to know how he's getting on.
