Introducing Arthur. 14hh Chestnut Gelding, DOB 2018. Arthur is a very eye catching registered British Riding Pony with an exceptional temperament. Lovely movement and conformation. Arthur has been very slowly and professionally broken and schooled over the last couple of years. He was my nieces pony and she has now moved on to jumping horses. Arthur is suitable for many disciplines, Showing, jumping, dressage, eventing, endurance, pony club etc etc.
He has been turned out this summer and we have now made the hard decision for him to go to the right home to be enjoyed.
He is perfect in the stable, you can do anything with him he really does enjoy being groomed, plaited, bathed etc.
Walks straight on and off a trailer or box. No problems with the farrier or dentist.
Will hack out alone or with company, heavy traffic no problem.
We was going to keep him and compete him next year but we cannot find a reliable jockey with the time to bond with him, most just want a free ride once a week !!!
Arthur will need bringing back in to work, he has been living the life of luxury over this summer turned out with our mares and foals while we decided what to do. This will pose no problems with his temperament and willing to please. He is ridden in a snaffle, no fancy complicated tack.
He has fantastic showing lines and really is a good looking horse.
He comes to call in a field full, will be tied up for hours and pampered, he really is a superb best friend looking for a knowledgeable home with someone looking for fun and ribbons.
If Arthur was in full work and had been out this summer he would be priced much much higher. We are looking for someone with time this winter to bond with him and bring him back in to work ready for next season either competitively or family pony.
