Hiya,
This is my gorgeous baby boy Rocky. I rehomed him in November last year and was told he was perfect for me considering the circumstances I had at the time.
It soon became apparent that the previous home he was in was only kept for breeding and wasn’t treated correctly.
It is absolutely heartbreaking that I’m having to even consider rehoming him as myself and my partner love him to pieces, and we know he has grown to really love us too. However I have recently found out I am pregnant and have accepted that it wouldn’t be fair for him to stay with us.
Rocky will need a home with no other pets, he is however okay with children.
He also really needs someone who will have more time for him than we do at the moment, as he does need attention full time due to his anxiety, someone who is at home most of the time and wants a lap dog, or someone who has the time to put into proper training for him.
When we first got him, it seemed as though he hadn’t been taken outside of the house before, as every noise was scary to him, and every dog that passed he would bark at out of fear. However since I have been training him where I can, he seems to have calmed down slightly while out now, and will only bark at the occasional dog with without prompts.
Again, it goes without saying that I am absolutely devastated that he isn’t able to stay with us, but I just hope that I’m able to find the perfect home for him, and for someone to find their forever little boy that will love him as much as we do, and can enjoy his company and loving nature.
Please don’t be offended but I will not just give him to anyone, I feel that I’ll know if it’s the right person and right fit for him when I meet you.
All I care about is Rocky having the perfect home, however I have been advised by every rehoming centre I have spoken to, to make sure he isn’t given away for too little obviously due to various dog abuse.
