Stanley is a young male sprocker from a working line. He's incredibly affectionate and a bundle of energy, but unfortunately has turned out too much for us to cope with. We currently don't have the space or time to accomodate his growing needs, despite assurances from the breeder this wouldn't be the case. He needs someone with a lot of time for training and free space for him to roam, ideally someone experienced with gundogs, or with a decent amount of land. With his background being a working line, with the right training he could probably also make a great working dog.
Problems to be aware of with Stanley is sometimes excessive mouthing (but never biting / aggression), destructive chewing when he is understimulated, and pulling on the lead. We had some success training these behaviours out several months ago but as is quite common, they have resurfaced as he has entered adolesence and I'm having more trouble training this time, due to a mix of being underexperienced, and overstretched in my personal life.
I will consider offers on the price, I have set a relatively high price to encourage serious buyers, I will also include his crate, bedding, toys, bowls, equipment, and anything else of his I find. Overall including the price I paid for him as a puppy, I estimate £500 to be about 1/3 of the value I paid for everything that will be included.
He has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, and docked as a working dog (I have documentation for this). Flead and wormed. Please contact me with any questions.
