Zelda is a 18 month old show cocker with stunning chocolate and tan sable colouring.
She is very nervous and fearful of people and dogs other than her immediate family.
With people she will back away until she is ready to sniff and get to know you and once she is happy she will be your best friend forever.
Dogs she is fine when meeting off lead if they are not forceful. On lead she will back away and bark constantly until they are out of sight.
We have very sadly come to the decision that she will be better off in a different home as our older dog is getting more and more aggressive with her and we've tried everything to sort this problem out.
She can be destructive when she hasn't been exercised enough and you must be careful with leaving her unsupervised with throws/dog beds/ dog jumpers as she has gone through phases of chewing and swallowing these which could cause a blockage.
She will do the usual cocker squeak when she wants attention as she loves being right by your side and will do anything to please you.
She has a long list of tricks that she can do and she loves to show off what she knows and work on new ones.
Very food motivated and loves to play with a ball but again these need to be taken away once play is over or she will eat these too.
I do use a halti as we are still working on lead walking and she has good and bad days with this.
She loves children once she knows them and is used to walking next to buggies.
She really is the sweetest cuddly girl and I'm heart broken that I have to find her another home.
Please know she will only be going to a home that I think she will benefit from.
