Unfortunately, I need to find a new home for this lovely girl as she didn’t bond with my neutered male.
Poppy is a curious and sweet bunny. While she may take some time to bond with humans, once she does, she becomes a wonderful companion. She doesn’t like being picked up and will only allow petting on her own terms (typically when she approaches you). She is sensitive to noise, so you'll need to be mindful of things like vacuuming when cleaning her space. She’s also afraid of children and dogs. However, she’s perfectly fine with grooming and absolutely loves enrichment toys. She is also very treat-motivated and quite confident around other bunnies.
Her true personality shines when she’s free-roaming; you’ll see her jumping around and playing with her toys.
Even though she was neutered in August, she can still show some hormonal behavior. It may be best to keep her as a solo bunny for now and try bonding her in a couple of months.
I will only consider homes where she can be free-roaming. Please contact me with pictures of your setup and some information about yourself. I will be very selective as I want her to have the best life possible.
